Period of reflection

Jeremy Corbyn (who lost at least 4 elections in a row: two general, local and European) will lead “period of reflection” in Labour Party after last election defeat. Ed Milliband, who lost an election before Corbyn, will assist him. As I’m writing these words it’s exactly a month after historical, landslide, country-changing win of Conservatives in the United Kingdom.
At this point, we should have first conclusions from this celebrated by left-wing media “period of reflection” process, but to be honest- I can’t see any. There were some articles about mysterious NEC secret report but people like us- will never know details. Right after the election- loser Corbyn decided to keep his position and stay at the helm of the ship who crash and burn and went straight into the abyss. He still thinks he won… argument.
This celebrated “Period of reflection” looks like looking at the mirror and repeating: I’m awesome; I won the argument; there was nothing wrong with our manifesto; those racist bigots at North and Midlands- they know nothing about modern socialism and needs of working-class; they vote wrong; they were brainwashed by media; they are too stupid to understand; I did nothing wrong.
Politician after politician from Labour claim that party need to go back to the core values but I can’t see one politician of Labour who would have an idea what working class needs are in reality. I’m working class bloke- I don’t believe there are 52 genders. I don’t believe that borders are bad. I don’t believe EU is awesome and we should be part of it. I don’t believe patriotism is bad. I don’t believe that the world will end in 20 years due to climate change. I don’t believe we should close all the factories and export all manufacturing jobs to China. I strongly believe that blue collar workers like me are as important as those liberal elitist living in metropolitan areas.
I’m looking at Labour leadership contest and I can’t see one person who would know how my life looks like today. They have no idea what does it mean to be working class in this day and age. All of them still thinks that Twitter and Facebook crowd in London/Liverpool/Manchester is way more important, smarter and influential than the working class. The last election proves that they are wrong, but they would not listen. Oh no, they won’t!
When one of the more important politicians of Labour Party (David Lammy) called voters in North who voted for Brexit- racist, I knew: this is beginning the end for Labour in North. You can’t expect to win when you call your core voters racist, idiots and other insulting names.
As a resident of the Midlands I’m hearing more like threats from socialist- go back Labour or else! You need to go back under our shoe! You stupid racist are wrong about everything. Brexit is bad. Unchecked emigration is good. Destruction of the manufacturing sector for the sake of some weird extreme eco policies is good. There are 52 genders and if you don’t agree with that- you are a racist bigot! The Twitter crowd is always right and you lot are just too old, too stupid, too uneducated to understand that.
So… who cares about a period of reflection? Not Corbyn and his gang… He stayed at the position just to keep control over the election process. Marxist hate democracy- Momentum Movement at their internal election ballot gave choice between Rebecca Long-Bailey and… no one else. This is democracy Stalin style! Marxist like Corbyn, need to control everything from his Ivory tower in Islington, because if you allow people to choose- THEY CHOOSE WRONG!
Right after the election– Labour politicians (mainly from metropolitan areas) start to woo the electorate in chase of 100k per year paid position of Her Majesty Leader of Opposition. Labour under Corbyn skipped period of reflection and already sink in a political fight for power. Who cares about feasible policies? Who cares about working class turning its back on elitist politicians from metropolitan areas of the country like London, Manchester and Liverpool? Who cares about choosing someone who can speak to the working class and not sound like a stuffed buffoon? Labour decided to choose between knighted, Oxford-educated elitist with “sir” before his name and Corbyn in the skirt, left-wing sweetheart who thinks that their extreme socialistic manifesto was awesome and Conservatives landslide win was all media fault. Corbyn in the skirt is already branded Rebecca WRONG-Bailey (or Rebbeca WRONG DAILY) in internet spheres after awarding score “10 out of 10” to Corbyn leadership. How many elections would he have to lose to get “9 out of 10” from Rebecca??
There was no period of reflection. Labour elites again neglect the needs of working class and went straight from fighting for power in general election into fighting for power in an internal election. I don’t know how about you but none of the leadership contenders speak to me as a member of working class.
Period of reflection? It’s more like a period of neglection…
