“Cervixman” takes a knee. Would he also take PM office?

Sooner or later, there had to come a time when there were few events in Shirebrook that I could publish an article about. Despite the enormity of the problems facing our town, the Labour Party has decided to reduce the frequency of STC meetings to one per month. The debt? Untouched and still growing. Crime? Zero discussion. Town council spending? Better not to mention. Investments? There are plans, but is this what the residents want? That is another story.
Preparing a good, substantive article on Shirebrook requires a lot of time, research, revision and, above all, an idea. A few such articles are being written, but I need to post some “fillers” before I can present them. I prepared for this some time ago by writing a series of articles that are not about our town but may be of interest to regular visitors to S247. So, after the series “A visit to…”(only one left to finish the series), I decided to venture out into wider waters and take a closer look at the Leader of the Opposition- SIR Kier Starmer.

SIR IS WORKING-CLASS, AND SHUT UP ABOUT IT!
Today I have little to no respect for SIR Kier Starmer. At the start, I didn’t know much about him so I was indifferent. Now, I think he is an opportunist, slick operator and didn’t work an honest day of work in his life. He is a lawyer- and as we all know: lawyers are sooooo honest and committed to the truth that they are almost like angels.
He was behind failed and flawed Labour Party Brexit policy: in big cities, Labour was pro-EU. In rural areas, Labour was pro-Brexit. On top of that, they planned yet another referendum- just because elites weren’t happy about the result of the first one. That’s a typical wealthy lawyer approach- lie through your teeth just to get where you want.
REALISTS MUST BE SCARED NOW
I‘m a realist- I must admit that he has a chance to become the next PM of this country. Way bigger chance than lunatic Jeremy Corbyn. That is why, despite everything, this calculating lawyer needs to be watched with attention. The problem is- he is not. He was on drinks and parties same time as “party-gate” happened, and the media mentioned it once, maybe twice. No scrutiny. No investigations. He is flying under the radar, and he will do that right until the start of the next election campaign.
Nobody cares about what he is doing.
WHAT PEOPLE THINK ABOUT HIM
As I mentioned- I don’t like him, but my opinion does not matter. Actually, the opinion of anyone supporting any party does not count- they usually vote along party lines. The truth is that who becomes PM is decided by those who have no party affiliation- independents.
Some time ago, I noticed a poll on YouGov.com about the current leader of the Labour Party. I took it to see the results. They were so amusing that I took screenshots with the intention of presenting them to S247 readers.
By the way, I encourage readers who like to fill out surveys to register as a Yougov respondent. This company pays real money for filling out surveys, and as a respondent, you sometimes have access to the results. It takes a lot of surveys to get this money, but if you like surveys- why not? The answers which are highlighted in colour are my answers – in order to access the results, you had to answer first.
QUESTION 1

I know this is important for politicians. Not for me. I think what is important in a politician is the skill to close the deal, achieve important goals, and coordinate people around to do what is on the agenda. I don’t have to like a particular politician to vote for him- especially when I think he will deliver something essential for me.
Boris Johnson is a prime example here. He looks like a Muppet; he talks like a Muppet; the media hate him but still- he delivered all that he promised and then some. Brexit, vaccinations, thriving economy, trade deals worldwide, and just recently- a visit to Kyiv. I’m not the biggest fan of him, but I have to admit that he delivers, which is more important than my feelings about him. Smart people should act on facts and achievements, not feelings- those are for snowflakes.
For some time, I thought that Main Stream Media would take down Boris Johnson-like media took down Trump in the USA. Media moguls, many left-leaning newspapers, SKY, BBC, media pundits, leftie internet on Facebook and Twitter and the richest among UK society will never forgive Boris Johnson’s role in Brexit and the humiliation of Labour’s landslide defeat in 2019. They want to punish him exactly like the EU must punish the UK for Brexit. If not- people will start to think that you can expect politicians that they will do what people want- not what wealthy elites want.
In the case of the EU– if the rest of Europe notices that the UK is not falling apart but thriving and developing, people could start asking why we even need the EU? For whom do those thousands of bureaucrats in Brussels work? Why do they cost so much? What do they actually do?
Anyway- straight of the starting block: the first screen doesn’t look good for kneeling Cervix-man.
QUESTION 2

I thought he would get a way better result here. I don’t think he is terrible- he is doing what a lawyer would do in that situation: he dances between far left and centre to keep the party together. Somewhat impossible task since the far left is a bunch of lunatics- precisely the same as the far-right. Anything “far” is always bad for regular folks like you and me.
My guess is that the internal fighting in Labour hasn’t stopped. It’s just that the media don’t talk about them because they have more important targets: first, they tried to destroy Boris Johnson, then China flu came, then they went back to beating BoJo and now the war with Ukraine has popped up. Nevertheless- this statistic looks dire. It’s clear as day that Cervixman has the entire far left in Labour plus the rest of the country against him.
So far, it’s clear that the rest of the country hasn’t bought into his propaganda. I doubt SIR cares – he’s still got plenty of time before the election, and with each day approaching, the far-left leeches will be pandering to him to get his support. If he manages to keep them quiet, he has a chance to convince more independents to forget who he is, was and probably be.
Yes, I think far-left are leeches. They prey on the social democrats who are the majority in Labour. Why? Because the far-left knows that by running alone, they would have the same chance of success as the far-right. 1.5% would be their max. That’s why they sucked on Labour and destroyed any chance of a real centre-left opposition to the centre-right Conservatives.
QUESTION 3

Uh…oh..ouch! 60% think he is a weak leader. Good luck in a general election. Whatever you say about BoJo- he is tough to crack. He had endured so many attacks, blows to the back, media attacks on practically everything he did, crises, and yet he keep going like a well-oiled steam engine. You can hate him, but you must admit- he is tough as a nail. He is the only leader of any Western country to go to Kyiv. Even if you think that was just a PR stunt- you have to admit: you need balls to go to the warzone.
Cervixman? He is like old, stale oatmeal. Meeh, just meeeh…
QUESTION 4

The first question where my feelings diverged from those of the other respondents. In my opinion, Cervixman is a lawyer who can indeed talk nicely. He is able to appeal to the feelings of many by saying very little: hence I think he would be a good diplomat, and these, unfortunately, are incredibly annoying because they seldom tell the truth, and when they do, they do not do so directly.
QUESTION 5

I had an indifferent attitude to him until that incident in the pub in Bath. The way he behaved there changed my perspective. SIR is just another leftist who thinks that he deserves respect for existing, that he is better than everyone else because he is on the left, which always considers itself more enlightened.
QUESTION 6

Jeremy Corbyn is an idiot who thinks Venezuela is a “shiny beacon of social justice”. Despite 200,000,000 people murdered by socialists and communists in the 20th century, this is a man who still thinks socialism works.
You have to be a complete moron to ignore so much evidence that socialism doesn’t work. I lived under socialism. I know first hand- socialism corrupts people. It destroys everything that is good in people and strengthens everything that is bad. All that socialism creates is corruption, poverty, exploitation, blood and tears.
That’s why I was shocked that 27% thought Corbyn was better. Better at what? After all, he has suffered the biggest defeat in 85 years. SIR would have to really work hard to give the Conservatives another win on that scale.
QUESTION 7

That is an interesting question. To tell you the truth, it took me a long time to think about the answer. There is no doubt that the Labour Party scrupulously hides any signs of division and the quarrels, disputes, and skirmishes between factions. Hence the party can appear more united than before but if you watch materials from their last Party Conference you will see bickering, infighting, racism, and antisemitism is still strong in Labour.
QUESTION 8

UUU ouch! 50% not at all likely? That is bad. Very bad…
QUESTION 9

Yet another bad result for the leader of gender-fluid people. You can’t lie your way to people’s hearts. He will have to lie to far-left about centre-left and to centre-left about far-left. He will have to lie to everybody else (independents) about everything left. He will have to do Brexit policy again: tell one group what they want to hear and then go to another group and tell them what they want to hear even if it is completely opposite to what he said to the first group. What other choice does he have? Tell everybody that he agrees with Lisa Nandy: throw out of the party every person who claims that a man CAN’T have a cervix?
I assume ALL members of the Labour Party in Shirebrook would be thrown out of the Labour…
QUESTION 10

Wow. Only 26% believe in him? That is less than the Labour voting block, so some of them don’t think that he can win the next GE. I think people underestimate his cunning and calculating nature. SIR knows very well that he doesn’t need to show his full power now – that will come before the election itself. All he has to do now is not to do something stupid—nothing else.
The easiest task in the world.
END OF TIMES FOR LABOUR
If Labour does not win the next election, it seems to me that it will be the beginning of the end. The only way out then will be to cut themselves off from the extreme left, which means war within the party for the right to call themselves Labour. Despite my derisive tone and the mocking nickname I gave the Labour leader, he is, in my opinion, the best Labour leader the party has had since…I can remember. And if by reading these words you are thinking: Tony Blair was good, I would just like to remind you how that war criminal, tax-evader ended up… If you ever voted for him, unfortunately, you have blood on your hands. The blood of a million Iraqis…
50/50
I rate Labour’s chances of winning at the moment at 50/50. There is no denying that the pandemic and the scandals surrounding it have weakened BoJo’s position. Despite all the undeniable flaws the current PM has – I have to give him credit for being a tough guy. He survived the pandemic, managed to keep the economy going, and unemployment is the lowest of any major country in Europe (UK 4.2%; Germany 5.8%; France 8.62%; Ireland 5.3%; Spain 15.67 %, Italy 9.2%;).
Remainers were wrong, and Boris was right: there was no massive unemployment, no empty shelves, no riots, and there was no “winter of discontent”. Thousands of immigrants still want to get to the UK, risking their lives: I think that is the best confirmation that the UK is one of the best places to live in the world. The UK didn’t lose its prime position in the international arena.
WE ARE FINE BUT…
We are doing fine, folks! Better than fine. And yes- we like to complain, but you go to sleep at the end of the day with relative peace of mind and big hopes for tomorrow. So would you risk it voting for a party that can’t even decide how many genders there are?
I would still have preferred to see David Cameron running things, but nevertheless, BoJo did not let me down. He had a few stumbles, but overall he delivered. Unfortunately, black clouds are gathering on the horizon again: the aftermath of the Ukraine war will hurt the whole world. Russia and Ukraine stand for 30% of wheat world production plus a massive amount of fertilizers delivered to other big food producers. Russia is a major provider of petrol, gas and coal. Food prices this summer will explode. People will have to dedicate more money to feed themselves and automatically they will have less money for other things. The economy will suffer, and we with it.
