Care to guess who was rejected? I won’t keep you in suspense — me. Am I disappointed? Yes and no.

Yes, because I was ready to work and finish what I started. I was denied the opportunity to work for my community, even though so few are willing to do so.

No, because I expected that. This was the outcome I predicted long before I walked into the Chamber.

WHAT NOW?
In line with my original plan, I’m now starting preparations for the 2027 elections. Unless, of course, Labour decides to cancel them.

Meanwhile, I will continue my work as usual.

Congratulations to the new councillors and good luck in your new role! I will write a wider article about this meeting later this week. I’m planning to publish it on Sunday evening.
