BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH

A wise person once told me that if you have nothing good to say about someone, it’s better to say nothing at all. Yet, in Chris Kane’s case, faithfully following this advice would mean complete and eternal silence. Once again, I reached out requesting an interview – our ‘brave’ mayor and so-called leader of the council is so terrified by the prospect of an honest and open conversation without the possibility of using his fists that he refused once again.
Below is the footage proving another refusal (like and subscribe):
And here is my first attempt to interview him:
MAYOR, LEADER, COWARD
Those who follow our city’s situation will remember Chris Kane as a corrupt leader who fears questions like fire. Corruption scandals, nepotism, tax increases – this sums up his entire career. If I had to name one good thing he has accomplished, I would have to lie. I want to give him an opportunity to explain the situation from his perspective to S247 readers, but he doesn’t want to. He’s afraid.
BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH
I titled this article using a quote from William Shakespeare’s play Julius Caesar. This expression warns of impending doom or misfortune. Perhaps that’s why our esteemed leader and his “entourage” haven’t planned a single Full Council meeting in March? He and his cronies are so scared of “misfortune” that they decided to do nothing…
MARCH COMES IN LIKE A LION AND GOES OUT LIKE A LAMB
Playing with another common English phrase: Kane comes in like a lion and goes out like a clown. If you’ve watched the recording at the beginning of this article, you know exactly what I mean. Our supposedly transparent leader hides like a coward, like a criminal trying to conceal his face. He doesn’t have an ounce of courage to look me in the eyes and answer questions.
This is how you recognize evil: it thrives in darkness, craves silence, seeks to hide. It pretends to be full of virtues and good intentions. However, when someone attempts to shed light on the true picture, evil immediately conceals its real face – just like Chris Kane hiding behind his “notebook,” which he used to hit my camera.
CORRUPTION EXPOSED
Shirebrook Town Council (STC) breaking the law once again. Twenty one days ago, I submitted a Freedom of Information (FOI) request, and to this day there has been no response. The deadline expired, and I received no answer. Here is proof that someone at STC read my message:

I also asked the Chair of the Leisure Committee to explain who lied to him about the pellet invoices – the ‘Chair’ did not respond. The Town Clerk did not respond. A suffocating silence now envelops STC like plague air. Rotten air. Sick air. Air heavy with corruption, nepotism, and betrayal of public trust.
SOMETIMES I WONDER
Sometimes I wonder how Labour Party councillors justify to themselves – to their own sense of decency and moral compass – what their party is doing. Are they blind? Are they being blackmailed and forced to keep silent? Are they really that corrupt? What drives a person to ignore such widespread corruption and nepotism?
How can these people look at themselves in the mirror each morning? The answer is simple: they can’t. They’ve long since covered those mirrors with the dark cloth of complicity.
