HMOs scandal rattled Labour Party leader of BDC

GAGGED – that’s how you feel when you try to have a civilised conversation with the so-called leader of the BDC Labour Party group. Only she gets to speak, and even when she manipulates the facts, you don’t get the chance to respond and set the record straight.

Typical Labour Party behaviour, so I can’t say I’m surprised. But… it looks like I’ve rattled the cage, and more and more people are starting to notice the Labour Party’s role in the process of infesting Shirebrook with HMOs. To be factual, I checked the most up-to-date list of HMOs. (If you want to check it yourself, I’ve added a link to the website below article text.)

The number of HMOs in Shirebrook and Langwith Junction? 19 (nineteen). The number in the rest of the district combined? 2 (two). That means we have 850% MORE HMOs than the rest of the district COMBINED!

AND ALL OF THEM WERE APPROVED BY LABOUR-LED BDC.
Jane Yates has published TWO extremely long posts about me, my anti-HMO campaign, and her own role in the acceptance of HMOs in Shirebrook. TWO posts about Shirebrook247 within 24 hours?! I feel blessed! The queen has descended from her throne and mingled with the plebs! Finally, they have noticed that I exist!

Both posts had their comments locked, of course — God forbid residents should be allowed to chip in and help set the record straight! The fact is, it looks like the message is finally getting through:

WE DON’T WANT HMOs IN OUR COMMUNITY, AND LABOUR DOESN’T CARE WHAT WE THINK. THEY JUST DON’T.
I love a good debate and bringing the truth to light. Both of Jane Yates’s posts contain an astonishing amount of what I consider manipulation and accusations, so, for a moment, I considered addressing them in my next article. Why not, right?

But then I thought… why bother? I’d rather focus on articles about the ‘lease’ of the Town Hall to BDC and the stock-check procedure at the Leisure Centre. (this text is just a copy of my post on Facebook fanpage of S247, copied here so people in future can see role of Jane Yates in HMO-Labour scandal).

SECOND POST FROM YATES — EVEN MORE MANIPULATIONS
In her second post, she attempted to address some of the points I raised, including the fact that her Labour Party colleagues were involved in selling pieces of land in Shirebrook. She referred to them as “some councillors”, but let’s be honest — we all know they aren’t just some random councillors.

One of them was found guilty of fraud involving public funds. (Link to the Guardian article in the first comment.) Last time I checked he was Labour rep in Finance Scrutiny Comm at BDC. Insane, right? As for the other, there’s so much to say that I could probably write an entire book about him. We all know who he is, right?

Of course, she conveniently skipped over several other points I raised. And the funny thing is, I even forgot a few myself! Among them is evidence relating to her publicly documented, false statements about the Dragonfly scandal. Don’t just take my word for it — read the article and judge for yourself. In the end she acknowledged my point that she hadn’t attended a key meeting concerning a new HMO. Her excuse? She “wrote a letter” to the Planning Committee. Yup! A letter! Job done, right? The leader told her troops what to do. But then… oops! The troops went in the opposite direction.

BRAVO! SHE DID… SOMETHING!
I hope it was a strongly worded letter. But here’s the problem: in the end, her own Labour Party colleagues completely IGNORED her and went ahead with approving yet another HMO in Shirebrook. Looks like even Labour Party doesn’t treat you as a legitimate leader. They don’t listen to you because you are a joke. And this HMO scandal prove it.

DOES THAT SOUND LIKE A PARTY FOLLOWING ITS LEADER, OR A PARTY IGNORING HER COMPLETELY?
So, Jane, perhaps next time you need to write a SUPER STRONGLY WORDED LETTER — not just a letter. Although, judging by what happened this time, I’m not sure even capital letters would make much difference. You are just a placeholder until next elections. Hopefully you and your bunch of caviar-socialists will never have any influence over issues of Shirebrook and District. I hope. I dream.

And Jane, my sweetheart — you said that my website is Labour-hate. What people on the left like you call hate, society calls the truth. The facts. The reality. If I ever published hate speech, I’d expect the two-tier police to take an interest in it — so no, I don’t post hate. I post facts.
